Stay Awesome

Not even discussing all the thing I’ve previously listed, I feel that there isn’t that much character interaction. Everyone is always divided into their own little cliques or groups and you really don’t know anyone’s feelings towards anyone. I’m not suggesting anything Romantic but serious, a lot of relationships (romantic or friendly) that are so relevant in the comic, aren’t even a bit suggested here.

Superboy (sooo sick of this show’s depiction of him) ONLY really focuses on Miss Martian. Its like everyone else on the team doesn’t exist. At least he did start maybe a friendship with Blue Beetle and possibly Beast Boy (who shouldn’t even be there, but that’s another story), but the new team has various other members. They’ve had maybe 5 years to bond. No suggestion of any friendships are given what so ever. He never even mentions anyone else. I’m so sick of this Miss Martian bull crap.

Tim Drake is never there. Ever. and when he is, he’s in Dick’s shadow. What crap is this? FIRST OF ALL, Nightwing shouldn’t be there. At all. Maybe here and there, but never should be a leader for them. I guess the Titans don’t exist. Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, Donna Troy, Jericho, Terra, and others are just in space somewhere. And then you have Beast boy whose like 13 and with Martian dna and that crap…Let me stop. ANYWAY, Tim Drake, a natural leader. Yes, he looks up to Dick and appreciates him as a brother. But he knows how to lead. And he’s smart. And he has friends. What is this nonsense?

Wondergirl has no affiliation with any of the guys. And she’s too much of a cheerleader than anything. Yes she’s free-spirited, but she’s a strong, supportive character. She talks to guys. Just saying. They exist. She apparently has no connection with Tim Drake or Superboy…well that’s just crap.

Barbra Gordan…ok this I just don’t get. I’m kind of ok with it, but as I recall she’s older than Dick. If dick is 18 now…why is she with a bunch of teenagers? Can’t really complain about this, but her relationship with Dick…is there one? Because that’s kind of important. Just saying.

All the other members…I forget they exist. Some of them should technically be Titans. I don’t like the fact that they’re trying to morph the two teams together in this universe. They either leave out tooooo much or just mess up any opportunity for an important story arc. I know its supposed to be original and all, but still. I liked the previous written history. I mean, its sucks most of its already erased from comic continuity, but for it not to exist anywhere sucks just as well.
